Virtua Ambulatory Care Center

Virtua Center for Surgery is a South Jersey, same-day surgery center that provides personalized, expert care to its patients. The state-of-the-art facility, open since 2010, is a partnership between the Virtua Health System and leading South Jersey doctors. We worked with Virtua to complete the Planning and Design of their new Virtua Primary Care Physicians office in the ground up Virtua Health Wellness Center.
We worked closely with Virtua’s clinical and administrative staff to Program, Space Plan, and ultimately complete the Architectural and Interior Design of the new fit-out. The program called for the comprehensive care of patients that include all ages from children to senior citizens. Provisions in the design of the Waiting Rooms, Exam Rooms, and Intake/Out-take area were created and designed to achieve the best patient experience possible.
The design consisted of earth toned colors inspired by natural materials in an updated and contemporary design style. Integration of the technology and I.T. systems with casework in the patient areas, exam rooms, and Intake/Outtake areas helped achieved the projects goals.
