Saint Francis LIFE programs offer comprehensive, quality care for seniors, as a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). We worked closely with Saint Francis Health (SFH) for the design of the PACE Program in Wilmington, DE .
This nationally recognized model serves the aging population in many ways to help the members maintain their life style of living at home independently for a longer time than being admitted into an assisted living facility earlier in their senior years.
R2A & R2I designed the 27,400 SF project that provides the members home like spaces and rooms to spend the day in the company and care of peers and professional healthcare providers. The spaces include:
- Living rooms
- Recreational rooms
- Physical Therapy Rooms
- Dining rooms
- Worship chapel
- Cafeteria
- Outdoor Gardens
- Library/quiet rooms
Key to this project’s success is a complete ambulatory center within the footprint to provide the members with assistance in administering their medications, examining the members to help them maintain their health, and to educate the members on improving their health.
We researched and specified all of the furniture and artwork.
