Susan Corso | Senior Interior Designer
Susan Corso brings over twenty years of creative and exciting interior design experience to the firm. Here at R2I, she leads as a Senior Interior Designer on notable hotel and casino projects from Louisiana to Maine for Caesars Entertainment properties that include Bally’s, Caesar’s, Harrah’s, and Horseshoe as well as other hospitality giants such as Churchill Downs, MGM Resorts, Paragon Casino Resort and Mohegan Sun.
Sue’s design experience also includes extensive design experience with significant healthcare, higher education, and corporate environment clients. She has recently lead the design of 4 ground-up HRM facilities in Kentucky since 2018: Derby City Gaming, Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, Turfway Park Racing & Gaming and Derby City Gaming Expansion. Those projects total over $500M in construction budget.
Sue also managed the design to the re-imagined Bally’s Wild Wild West that features over 50,000 SF of entertainment, food and beverage concepts that included a Guy Fieri’s BBQ, live music stage, outdoor boardwalk lounge, and gaming space.
She understands clients’ business objectives and she champions great design that achieves excellent ROI for the clients’ projects.
She has a charming personality and brings her fantastic sense of humor to projects, but her work demeanor is intense with ‘laser-like’ focus effort on details. Her intensity comes along with lots of pride in accomplishing the clients’ objectives – their project goals, deadlines, budgets and she delivers. She holds Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University and is a graduate with Cum Laude honors.
