Mohegan Sun Ballroom and Meeting Room Pre-Function Areas Renovations and Upgrades scope of work included the design upgrades & renovations to the existing Ballrooms and Meeting Rooms Pre-Function Areas and Public Event Center Hallways. The entire Meeting Spaces footprint spans over +/- 275,000 sf of space that consists of the Uncas Ballroom (38,000 sf, divisible into ten spaces) and thirty (30) flexible meeting rooms. The Pre-Function space is +/- 14,000 sf. A total of +/- 5,300 people can be accommodated.
The project included the replacement and upgrades of floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, new decorative lighting fixtures, accent wall washing lighting, and other lighting elements, new acoustical treatment, and new custom furniture for guest seating that included club chairs, love seats, occasional tables, coffee and console side tables. The work also involved the research, recommendation and specification of artwork.
