Derby City Gaming is a ground-up Historical Racing Machine Facility in Louisville, KY.
The original project consisted of historical racing machines, two quick-service, walk-up food venues, a bar with seating for 50 and a player’s club reward center.
Food and beverage component included:
- Center Bar
- 31 Bar Seats
- 32 Additional Seating at Tables
- Food Court
- 2 Venues (Lil’ Wagner’s & Railbirds Hot Chicken)
- 4,100 SF
- +/- 120 Seats
Since the facility opened in 2018, R2A & R2I designed a 8,300 sf expansion that included additional games which opened in 2020.
Derby City Gaming a second expansion which included:
- 135,000 sf
- 5-story Hotel
- Additional Gaming Machines
- VIP Gaming
- Sports Bar
- Steakhouse & Bourbon Bar
R2I provided Interior Design and Master Planning services for this expansion
